Attack on Titan: Junior High (進撃！巨人中学校, Shingeki! Kyojin Chūgakkō, lit. Attack! Titan Junior High) is a Japanese comedy manga written and illustrated by Saki Nakagawa. This series is a parody of the Attack on Titan series created by Hajime Isayama. The Attack on Titan: Junior High manga was first published from April 2012 to July 2016 in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. Following this, the series would be published in eleven tankōbon volumes by Kodansha. In North America, Kodansha USA licensed it and published it as five volumes in English.
This manga was later adapted into an anime television series that began airing from October, 4th to December, 20th 2015. Later, in 2016, a rebroadcast was also aired.
Volume 1 entered the The York Times Manga Best Sellers list and stayed for three weeks. It debuted in this list at number eight and rose to number five.
Attack on Titan Junior High Manga Summary
In this spin-off, main characters of the original series, Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackermann enter a new school called Titan Junior High! In their classroom there are some new and apparently harmless Titans. However, Eren has hated Titans for years. This hatred causes a series of situations in which Eren will face his classmates. From human vs. Titan volleyball matches to a Titan rock band, this comedy-based manga series shows the infamous Attack on Titan characters from a very different perspective. A parallel world compared to the darker theme of the original manga and anime series.

First Year Students
- Eren Jaeger: He is a temperamental young boy who loves eating cheeseburgers.
- Mikasa Ackermann: She is a stoic girl who can handle tough situations that scares or incapacitates her classmates.
- Armin Arlert: He is a clever boy who falls sick easily and always wears a futon over his head to avoid catching a cold.
- Reiner Braun: He is a very strong and muscular student who is always together with his Bertolt. He is always trying to find himself a girlfriend.
- Bertolt Hoover: He is a very tall, quiet student and close friend to Reiner.
- Annie Leonhart: She is an introverted girl whose strength competes with the one of Mikasa. As well as Eren, she also loves cheeseburgers.
- Jean Kirstein: He is an egoistic boy whose biggest priority and concern in school is becoming popular amongst girls.
- Marco Bott: He is a friendly student and a good friend of Jean. He always tries his best to help Jean.
- Connie Springer: He is an athletic and extroverted boy with very short hair. Although his personality is very cheerful and optimistic, he is quite slow-witted.
- Sasha Blouse: She is a fun girl with a gluttonous appetite who spends most of her time eating or thinking about food.
- Krista Lenz: She is a small, cute and friendly girl who is well loved by her classmates, to the point many of them express their wishes to marry her.
- Ymir: She is a close friend of Krista. She is extremely protective of Krista and often discourages Reiner, who is always around her side. She openly says she wants to marry her.

- Petra Ral: She is a member of the Secret Explorers Club. She is nice and kind with the first year students.

- Rico Brzenska: She is the leader of the Wall Cleaning Club, and is responsible for cleaning the graffiti painted on the walls by the Titans. Also, she teaches the first year students how to climb the walls using the Three Dimensional Maneuvering equipment.

- Levi Ackermann: He is the leader of the Secret Explorers Club. He is reputed to be “the strongest man in the world”, being able to defeat a Titan only with a blow of his paper fan. Also, he is obsessed with cleanliness and dirt bothers him.
- [Hange Zoë]: He/she is a classmate of Levi and deputy director of the Secret Explorers Club. His/her gender is ambiguous. She is very excited about anything related to the study of the Titans, which often bothers Levi and calls her “abnormal” or “four eyes”.
- Mike Zacharius: He is a senior student who is a sidekick of Hange. He has the peculiar habit of sniffing younger students.
- Moblit Berner: He is also a senior student who is a sidekick of Hange.
- Ilse Langnar: She is a senior student who works as a gossip reporter at the Newspaper Club. She is constantly taking notes in her journal.

- Keith Shadis: He is the strict and intimidating teacher of class 1-04.
- Erwin Smith: He is a professor at the Titan Institute and a member of the teachers department. He is also the advisor of the Secret Explorers Club.
- Hannes: He is the concierge of the Titan Institute, and also the advisor of the Wall Cleaning Club.
