OtapediaHatsune Miku Event Goods

For each of the events that Hatsune Miku appears in, there is a large variety of merchandise for sale. In general, you don't need to buy a ticket to the concert, there will be a separate ticket that will grant access to the exhibit in order to purchase merchandise.

Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day

Miku no Hi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day was the first-ever Hatsune Miku concert. The merchandise from this event is still considered by many fans to be some of the best (and certainly rarest) that was ever available. Besides the standard scarf-style towel, pamphlet, and T-shirt that usually appear at every concert regardless of country, high-quality parkas, name tag keychain holders, pin badges, LED lights, and a shirt and cap in the form of a baseball team uniform were sold. It was also the first time that Crypton Future Media proceeded with an official collaboration on merchandise for an event, collaborating with Good Smile Company, Cospa, and animate stores.

Magical Mirai

Merchandise for Magical Mirai (hereafter shortened to "MM") concerts include keychains, shoelaces, pencil cases, T-shirts, towels, caps, glow sticks (referred to as “penlights”), and later on selling the traditional Japanese straight-sleeved coat happi. When MM first started in 2013, many fans felt that much of the goods were not made with the most original designs or concepts when compared to the Miku no Hi concerts. For instance, the glowsticks were inferior to the more complex multi-color glowsticks even though they were sold for a fraction of the price.
The following is a complete list of all the merchandise that was available for MM2013:

Merchandise for MM2014 included shirts, a new-and-improved glowstick, confectionary, backpacks/messenger bags, and towels.

MM2015 saw the introduction of a necktie (5,000 yen, and was sold out within 2 hours of sales beginning), folding umbrella, caps, and the happi.

MM2016 featured a belt, pens, and its theme song available in casette form.

MM2017 saw the debut of stamps, travel pouches, and happi for other Vocaloid members, not just Hatsune Miku.

MM2018 and MM2019 had special goods that differed between Tokyo and Osaka as well as scarf-sized towels for all Vocaloid members, not just Hatsune Miku.

MIKU EXPO

Design differences were the big difference between Magical Mirai and MIKU EXPO. On top of that, there was always at least 1 entirely new item per MIKU EXPO event.
2013 Indonesia had a knapsack, 2014 L.A. and New York had a plush toy with strap, 2016 Japan had a projector pen, and 2018 Europe had a Chibi Miku blouson jacket.

Other Merchandise at Events

Limited to event goods are common among events and concerts. For the opera THE END, not only were shirts available, but Hatsune Miku's Louis Vuitton designed outfit was also available for registration, in addition to detailed guide books.
At DAIBA de DIVA, visitors to the indoor amusement park can buy food and drinks there, along with confectionary, plush toys, figurines, coasters, and more.

Hatsune Miku Symphony 2017 was one of the few events which gave special favors for those with special seats. At a cost of 14,800 yen for their special seat concert ticket, fans would receive an original design ticket, pamphlet, T-shirt (with illustration by Tera Terada), rubber strap (illustration by iXima), clear file, and bag made of bonded material. Additionally, the rubber strap design differed between Tokyo and Osaka.

Considerations

If one ever finds oneself at a Hatsune Miku event and want to buy some merchandise, be sure to check her official blog ahead of time and be sure to arrive at the venue at least two hours before the concert starts as lines will undoubtedly be quite long. It's also important to remember that items are on sale until stocks run out, and in an extreme example, for instance at MM2018, swarms of fans attended the concerts but were unable to buy glowsticks before it started as other fans simply bought out the entire supply. Usually, events have a "1 per customer" policy but it was not enforced properly at that year's event.
