With more than 20 years of history, the Metal Gear Solid series continues to be beloved around the world, and now Kotobukiya returns with a long-awaited re-release of the prototype Metal Gear first seen during the Shadow Moses Incident in the original game released on the PlayStation in 1998, Metal Gear Rex! Sculpted by Katsuhiko Hori and Yasutomo Shimizu, this black version was endorsed by the game’s art director, Yoji Shinkawa, and stands 8.7" tall once built.

The articulated kit faithfully captures its look from the games with the utmost detail and features a black coloring that makes painting it even easier. Decals are also included so you can accurately recreate its look, and it even comes with unpainted figures of Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and two Cyborg Ninjas, plus a special base to display it on.
