Had to order this girl, the only figure of Marin in (almost) respectable clothing. Careful choice of display angle and lack of reflective surfaces are essential…
Anyhow, a pleasantly surprising finished product, a better face than the pre-release website pictures lead me to expect. The squirrel cheeks look much more natural! Paint is incredible, skirt pleating excellently sculpted and painted. Even her shoes are shaded brilliantly.
And an added bonus, she stands up firmly without the stand. And thanks to the excellent balance, the stand is tiny and looks great. |
