Weekly Highlights
Last week, we introduced a stunning pair of FILA x Hatsune Miku collaboration sneakers. Now—for an extremely limited time—we’ve also got three additional pieces of Miku-inspired apparel. Like the FILA sneakers, these items are designed to be an extremely close match for an outfit that Miku wears in the fully animated "Intergalactic Bound" music video. (The video is embedded in each product page linked above, for easy viewing.) Check the final scene, starting at around 2:45, to see Miku dancing in clothing now available from TOM! Available quantities will be highly restricted after 2/20 JST, so we recommend pre-ordering these apparel pieces over the weekend if you can.

MAIDMADE Zoku Owarimonogatari Shinobu Oshino 1/7 Scale Figure
Spiffyman 30
10 Feb. 2024
Need more MAIDMADE & best Shinobu figure so far
TLDR: Maid Shinobu? Maid Shinobu.

Miyuki absolutely nailed this figure. Painting is crisp and the finishes change from one part to another. Her ribbon and belt are a glossy black awhile her clothing is a more matte black, for example. The chain is surprisingly stiff and strong feeling despite being so long and curvy. I was expecting that to feel like it's about to break if you touch it too hard. Hair seems to be made of a stiffer material as well, more of a hard plastic than flexible PVC. Looks amazing though, clean edges with no visible seams and the extra hardness really helps those thin curls hold their shape well. Great choices all over in both design and manufacturing. Sword fits really easily in her hand and comes with a little clean support for the tip of the blade, but I don't plan on using it. I really like the clear blue pendants too. I was really looking forward to this figure based on the example images and I'm pleased to say the figure I got is almost exactly the same. The only differences I noticed were that the chain has a black interior rather than silver, looks better that way, and the belt loops are a bit rounder or have more softened edges than the sample. I'm guessing that turned into a molding issue to have such tight right angles like that. Small detail though and still looks fine. The base is smaller than many other figures of this size, but she is plenty stable on it, especially with the double metal pins in both feet.
