All the latest on the TOM Shop |
Usually, when we introduce wallet-friendly figures, we’re referring to prize items and other non-scale figures. But recently we’ve observed a noticeable increase in affordable scale figures ranging from under $25 (like this 1/7 scale Megumin) to around $100. Some are a shockingly great value for their size!
Weekly Highlights
Some really cute chibi figures appeared on the Shop this past week—and because coupon code MINI24 is reusable, you can keep taking advantage of it to save on new orders! (The coupon will remain available right up until the end of the month.)
We’re thrilled to once again have the opportunity to introduce multiple new Hatsune Miku apparel collabs. The Mayla pumps shown above would be perfect to wear on special occasions, or to store and display as an art object in their own right. And for everyday wear, you’ll find a stylish collection of hoodies & accessories from Listen Flavor (also including pieces themed after Megurine Luka and Rin & Len!).
[Love Live] Right now, we’re taking pre-orders for special official merch from Liella’s Unit Live & Fan Meeting tour. But be warned that pre-orders will close VERY soon: by the end of Sunday JST.
TOM Premium Exclusive
A new Premium exclusive wallpaper is here, this time featuring Ninja-kun (and a curious cat) making hand-drip coffee. Put it on your phone or computer desktop as a reminder to take a breath and relax during busy times. The entire gallery of past wallpaper designs remain available to download as well. You might see a few that would be perfect to use during the upcoming cherry blossom season!

Encyclopedia of How to Draw Expressions for Digital Illustrations

Honestly should be a must-have for animators and illustrators
I think this is one of the most universally applicable anime artbooks I've ever seen. Honestly, going beyond anime style the pointers on how to get character emotions across is really, really well done and uses good examples for showing more subtle expressions that might be harder for a self-taught artist or someone whose instruction didn't delve as deep into studying how other animators and illustrators do expressions.

Highly recommended for any artist.
