She is gorgeous, insane, and cute all at the same time, and somehow that makes her all the more lovable. Her popularity rivals Batman and Superman from the DC Comics, and she has featured in multiple films, animations, and comics. Nendoroid Suicide Squad Harley Quinn: Suicide Edition (Re-run)

This Nendoroid depicts Harley Quinn from the film Suicide Squad and captures the charm Margot Robbie blew into Harley Quinn for the movie. Harley has a red and blue side. On her left side, the blonde hair fades into blue, she wears blue eyeshadow, and the edges of the shorts and sleeves are blue-stained. Her blonde hair fades to a red color on her right side, and she wears red eye-shadow. The edges of her shorts are stained red. She also comes with three faceplates, one with her crazy-looking smile, an angry expression, and her face when she blows her chewing gum. All of the faceplates have her iconic heart tattoo on her left cheek. Nendoroid Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey Ver.

This Harley Quinn is the version from the movie Birds of the Prey. In this movie, she wears a slightly different outfit. Her hair was accurately recreated, with her short blonde hair with pigtails and very choppy bangs. The tips of the pigtails are dyed a pastel pink and blue. She wears shiny and golden overalls with a pink crop top underneath. She also dons a pair of red and pink polished speakers, and the paintwork accurately recreates the glossy appearance of her clothes. The figure also comes with two faceplates, her cute smile, and a severe look while she sucks on her lollipop. Other accessories include roller skates, roller skates that she can carry over her shoulder, her pistol, her mallet, and various leg and arm plates. Nendoroid Batman Ninja Harley Quinn: Sengoku Edition

This Nendoroid depicts Harley Quinn from the anime film Batman Ninja. The figure accurately recreates Harley Quinn’s Sengoku-era Japanese-style outfit. She has two-toned hair, red on the right and a dark purple on her left, and wears a black top and shorts with white frills. Other accessories include two facepieces, her neutral smile and a crazy-looking smile, a hammer that resembles the rattle drum, and her gun.

About Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is a popular character featured in the DC Universe. Initially, she was depicted as the lover and accomplice of Joker, but different adaptations of Harley Quinn feature in the differing media works.

About Harley Quinn: Background

Harley Quinn, real name Harleen Quinzel, was raised in a dysfunctional household. Her dysfunctional environment leads to her psychotic personality. Harley’s psychotic nature starts in her younger years as she forms an unhealthy obsession with Frankie Muniz and takes part in the disappearance of Jessica Sarner. She later aspires to become an Olympic gymnast, but her father also crushes this dream.

Later on, she graduated from a university and became a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum. At the asylum, Harley is tasked to get Joker to reveal the location of the bombings. Her job at the asylum becomes the catalyst to her psychotic nature coming out. This also leads to Harley’s unhealthy attachment to Joker and becoming the lover and accomplice of Joker. It is also the start of her friendship with Poison Ivy.

About Harley Quinn: Abilities

A master acrobat, combatant, and psychiatrist, Harley Quinn utilizes her abilities to help defeat her opponents. Harley Quinn is an Olympic-level gymnast and uses flexible movements to her advantage in combat. Her athletic nature allows her to maintain the upper hand against her opponents. She is also an incredible fighter. Her preferred weapon is a baseball bat, which she uses to cause severe injuries. Lastly, due to her psychiatry background, she is a genius at understanding how the human mind works. This allows her to manipulate and understand the thought process her opponents take.

Other Important DC Comics Characters

Due to her complex yet psychotic nature, Harley Quinn has very significant and robust relationships with famous characters in the DC universe. Her most well-known relationship is with Joker.

Joker

The two first met at Arkham Asylum, where Harley worked. Unfortunately, this fateful encounter leads to Harley’s psychotic nature being amplified, and the two become dependent on each other. On multiple occasions, Joker attempts to kill Harley, feeling that their romantic relationship prevents him from fulfilling his life purpose. However, despite all of the abuse, Harley always returns to Joker. In Birds of Prey, Harley is depicted to have finally been able to leave the abusive relationship.

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is also a very popular female villain in the DC Universe. She is Harley’s best friend, and unlike many of the partnerships between villains, the two have a genuine friendship. Ivy tries to rescue Harley from her abusive relationship with Joker in many of the comics.
