Deidara Naruto - Nendoroid

Naruto is a very large and well-known franchise with all sorts of products being released such as figures and Nendoroids. The anime was first released on the 3rd of October 2002 and gained massive attention. The series continued for a long amount of time and became known as one of the three major anime/manga series. Naruto tells the story of a young boy who overcomes many obstacles to become a very accomplished ninja. The ninja that appears in the story are very unique and have the ability to use supernatural attacks. One of the popular characters from the series is Deidara from the criminal organization Akatsuki. He is very popular due to the flashy explosions that he likes to use as his main attack. From the Naruto franchise, many figures are being sold in the design of Deidara. One popular product is the "Nendoroid Naruto Shippuden Deidara".

Nendoroid Naruto Shippuden Deidara

The crazy pyromaniac joins the Nendoroid family with an explosion. Deidara wears his usual Akatsuki cloak that is black with red clouds on it. Around his head is his Iwagakure forehead protector with a slash through it showing he is a defector. His hands have been faithfully recreated to show the little mouths that he uses to create his bombs.

Deidara can be presented with three different facial expressions. The first one shows a standard smiling face that shows his teeth. Another expression shows Deidara with his eyes very focused and lips in a thin line showing a slight grin. The last expression shows Deidara with a confident expression and his tongue sticking out. There are also optional features to pose Deidara in various ways. He can be posed while riding his clay bird or with an explosion effect part.

About Deidara

Deidara was a shinobi from Iwagakure and is an S-rank missing-nin. When Deidara joins Akatsuki he is partnered with Sasori then with Tobi.

About Deidara: Background

As a child, Deidara possesses the explosion release kekkei genkai which allows him to use explosive chakra. Due to his kekkei genkai he was put into the Iwagakure explosion corps. Deidara enjoyed making clay sculptures but wished to further his artistic ability. This caused him to steal a kinjutsu that allowed him to knead chakra into a substance. After learning the kinjutsu he kneads his explosive chakra into clay and uses it as bombs. Deidara then realizes that art is fleeting and what he is pursuing are the bombs he can create out of his clay sculptures.

Deidara leaves his village and becomes a missing-nin who offers his services as a bomber. His ability caught the attention of Akatsuki and is asked to join. At first, Deidara refuses but accepts a duel from Itachi Uchiha. Itachi proposed a battle and if he lost Deidara would join Akatsuki and if Deidara won they would leave him alone. Deidara is easily beaten by Itachi's sharingan, forcing him to join. After joining Akatsuki, Deidara carries a grudge against Itachi and his sharingan and trains himself to counter genjutsu and beat Itachi.

Deidara loves art and would delve into long discussions about it with his partner who also loved art. Even though the two had different opinions on whether art was eternal or fleeting, Deidara respected it. He also holds pride for being in Akatsuki and believes they should act calm and serious. While Deidara is usually calm and relaxed he gets easily angered with Tobi who always acts childish and stupid.

About Deidara: Abilities

Deidara is a very powerful shinobi with a unique kekkei genkai. He is an S-rank missing-nin and was able to single-handedly defeat Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, in a territory that was advantageous for his enemy. By using his explosion release ability as well as the kinjutsu he stole, Deidara is able to cause many explosions. By kneading his explosive chakra into the clay sculptures he creates Deidara is able to create many bombs. He often states that art is an explosion and takes great pleasure in blowing things up.

Other Important Naruto Characters

The Akatsuki members are very important to the series as they allow the main cast to grow and become stronger. They are a very powerful criminal organization and are steep hills used to show Naruto Uzumaki and his friends the difference in power.

Sasori

Sasori is a member of Akatsuki and is Deidara’s first partner. The two of them both love art and often get into heated discussions on whether art is eternal or a single moment. They are one of the first Akatsuki members to appear and battle, showing Naruto and his friends the danger they possess.

Itachi Uchiha

Itachi Uchiha is a missing-nin from Konohagakure and is a part of Akatsuki. He is important to the story as he shows Naruto the vast difference in ability and skill. Itachi shows Naruto how much stronger he needs to grow in order to protect the ones he cares about.
