Attack on Titan - BE@RBRICK
Attack on Titan is a wildly popular manga series created by Hajime Isayama. The story follows Eren Yeager and his fight against superhuman enemies called the Titans. As of March 2021, the manga has entered its final chapters. Medicom Toy has celebrated the series since the first anime episode in 2013. Medicom Toy launched their first Attack on Titan figure in 2013. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include over 10 unique figure designs.
Collaboration Planning and Launch Information
In celebration of the first anime season, BE@BRICK included a figure of the Colossal Titan in their Series 27 launch. The design received a solo release in 2014 and an appropriately large 1000% size version in 2015. In 2017, Medicom Toy released an Attack on Titan blind box set to coincide with the anime's second season. That same year, they released a BE@RBRICK of the popular character Levi in a partnership with Nanaco.

About Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan is about giant humanoid creatures called Titans whose sole purpose seems to be eradicating the human population. In order to protect themselves from these predators, the humans created three walls: Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. In the story's beginning, a young boy Eren Yeager loses his home and mother to a Titan attack. Eren vows revenge and swears to eradicate all Titans from this world. Along with his friends, he joins a military group, the Survey Corps, dedicated to protecting the inner walls from Titan attacks. As the story progresses, mysteries about the Titans and the true nature of human survival start to unfold. Eren and the Survey Corps find themselves in the center of corruption, deceit, and the fight for humanity's survival.
The manga series debuted in Kodansha’s monthly Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in September 2009. It was an immediate critical and commercial success. In 2011, the series won the Best Shounen Manga Award at the 35th Kodansha Manga Awards. Sales as of December 2019 exceeded 100 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. In 2013, Attack on Titan received an anime adaptation that ran for four seasons. The series will conclude in 2021.
About Eren Yeager
Eren Yeager is the protagonist of the manga series. After the Titans manage to destroy Wall Maria, Eren loses his home and witnesses a Titan devour his mother. This early experience colors Eren’s entire story as he devotes himself to destroying all Titans in the world. Ironically, Eren discovers his father injected him with the Titan’s serum, allowing him to transform into a Titan himself. He eventually possesses the power of three titans: the Attack, Founding, and War Hammer Titans. Eren's conflicting idealism and inner darkness lead to multiple character arcs throughout the story.

As the protagonist, Eren Yeager is supported by many characters throughout the story. The main supporting characters are Armin Arlert and Mikasa Ackerman.
Armin Arlert
Armin Arlert is one of the main supporters of Eren Yeager in Attack on Titans. He is one of Eren’s childhood friends, as they grew up together within the Wall Maria. Despite his physical weakness, he joins the Survey Corps along with Eren and Mikasa. Armin's intelligence makes him a crucial member of the Survey Corps, saving their lives on many occasions. Unlike Eren, Armin's motivation to fight stems from hope rather than a hatred of Titans. He eventually becomes a Titan, gaining the power of the Colossal Titan.
Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman is Eren Yeager's best female friend and one of the series' most powerful characters. Before the story opens, Eren’s parents adopted the orphaned Mikasa and raised her like a daughter. She is the last descendant of the Shogun clan on Paradise Island. Her love for Eren as a family is apparent throughout the series. She desires to live a peaceful life but also joins the Survey Corps in order to protect Eren. There, she becomes one of the best soldiers in the 104th Training Corps. She holds a position of leadership and currently serves as an officer in the Corps.
