Shoto Todoroki My Hero Academia - Figures
Shoto Todoroki also goes by his hero name, Shoto. Todoroki figures are in high demand from fans of the anime series My Hero Academia. The series has done well to gain a massive audience since it first aired in the summer of 2016. The unique and detailed designs of the characters are a huge contributing factor to the large fan base and Todoroki is a great example. Todoroki’s demeanor is very calm, but serious. Nendoroid My Hero Academia Shoto Todoroki: Hero’s Edition
This cute Nendoroid Todoroki figure shows Todoroki in his hero costume. He wears a dark blue jumpsuit with a beige utility belt. Small silver capsules of medicine, which help Todoroki regulate his quirk, hang from the belt. He also wears leather wristbands with silver plating. His hair is in its usual style, with his long fringe hanging in the middle of his forehead. Todoroki uses this style so that his vision isn’t blocked by his hair. The figure is fully articulated, so it can be changed to any position and pose. To match different poses, the figure comes with three interchangeable face plates. The first is his standard, cool expression. The next is a big smile, which is rarely seen from Todoroki. Lastly is a fierce expression, for when he is ready to fight villains. The figure also comes with ice and fire parts to recreate his Half-Cold Half-Hot quirk.

Ichiban Figure My Hero Academia Next Generations! Feat. Smash Rising Shoto Todoroki
This Ichiban Todoroki figure features Todoroki using both sides of his Half-Cold Half-Hot quirk at the same time. Todoroki was hesitant to embrace his fire abilities and had a difficult time learning how to use both simultaneously. That makes this figure very special and a delightful potential addition to any fan’s collection. Moreover, Todoroki’s usual blank expression is replaced with a furious, intense expression. His hair is pulled back from his face as if by a gust of wind. His position is strong and ready to attack, with both arms up and legs apart. A blast of ice emerges from his right foot while fire shoots out from his left arm, shoulder, and chest area.

My Hero Academia Banpresto Figure Colosseum Vol. 3 Shoto Todoroki
This figure features Todoroki in a dynamic action pose. Both legs are off the floor and bent together, as if he is getting ready to deliver a big kick. In this aerial position, Todoroki looks cool from any angle, allowing the full details of his hero costume to be admired. He wears a gray backplate with red details with straps that form supports that go all the way around his shoulders. The folds of his blue jumpsuit have been recreated faithfully and look like they are made with real fabric. One arm reaches out, about to blast flames and his expression is determined and fierce with his teeth clenched in concentration. Even the capsules on his utility belt swing in different angles, so they look to be suspended midair.

About the Character
Shoto Todoroki is the son of the second most powerful hero, Endeavour. He inherited the flames of his father’s quirk and the ice of his mother’s quirk. As Todoroki’s relationship with his father is quite rocky, Todoroki at first swore that he would never use the Half-hot part of his quirk in combat. He eventually accepted this part of his quirk with the help of Izuku Midoriya, his classmate and rival. Todoroki is a stoic and calm person by nature, but is an excellent fighter. He is humble despite his status, wanting to become a hero to help people instead of doing so to gain fame. As such, he is well-liked by fans of the anime series.
Reviews
Both hardcore and casual fans of the anime find Shoto Todoroki figures to be excellently made and great additions to their merchandise collections. Although a stock of figures is made available for pre-orders, they are often sold-out well before they are scheduled to be shipped out. With more content for the anime series coming soon and more appearances made by the character, Todoroki figures remain high in demand.
