Synopsis
Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! follows the story of Midori Asakusa who wants to create an anime but doesn’t know where to begin. She happens to make a random lucky encounter with Mizusaki Tsubame, an up-and-coming socialite from a rich family who secretly wants to be an animator. The two team up together with Midori’s money-loving friend who acts as producer for the “Motion Picture Club” they create in order to realize their dreams.
Background
Eizouken ni wa Te o Dasu na! began as a manga created by Sumito Owara in 2016. It is still ongoing in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Big Comic Spirits. Science SARU is producing the anime adaptation. The staff includes director Masaaki Yuasa (Devilman Crybaby, Ride Your Wave), character designer Naoyuki Asano (Mr. Osomatsu), and music by Oorutaichi (Kick-Heart).

Midori Asakusa (Voiced by: Sairi Ito)
Midori Asakusa is the Motion Picture Club director. She is imaginative but often needs support from her friends Tsubame Mizusaki and Sayaka Kanamori to start things and interact with people.
Tsubame Mizusaki (Voiced by: Misato Matsuoka)
Tsubame Mizusaki is the Motion Picture Club animator. She is straightforward and free spirited. The influence of her rich parents has made her poor at understanding finances. She likes to climb to high places.
Sayaka Kanamori (Voiced by: Mutsumi Tamura)
Sayaka Kanamori is the Motion Picture Club producer. She has a love of money and thinks pragmatically.
Doumeki (Voiced by: Yumiri Hanamori)
The only member of the Audio Club, Doumeki joins Eizouken as their audio advisor on the condition that she can rent the clubroom space.
Sowande Sakaki (Voiced by: Mikako Komatsu)
The student council secretary, Sowande is considered the true president of the student council who actually runs things since she is much more astute than the actual president. She seems to have an interest in the Eizouken, but her true intentions are unknown.
Mr. Fujimoto (Voiced by: Kazuhiko Inoue)
Eizouken’s advisor, Mr. Fujimoto is known for his magnificent old-timey mustache. He rarely gives the Eizouken any direction and instead lets the members choose their own activities. He likes to play games in his free time.
