Iguchi Yuuka is a professional voice actress for Office Osawa, and was cast to voice the role of Crusch Karsten in the anime series Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World.

Born in Tokyo in July of 1988, Iguchi hasn't otherwise discussed much information from her youth. Iguchi started her voice acting career in 2002 where she passed an audition for a role withing the Gamers Guardian Fairies (or GGF for short). The GGF was a program run by the Japanese franchise GAMERS in which virtual fairies would be protecting gamers, Iguchi voiced the role of the fairy known as Sapphire, who was known for protecting the head office and Gacha. The program ended after four years in 2006, in which five of the remaining voice actors ran a Graduation Concert to celebrate it's ending. Since then, Iguchi has been managed by the highly successful Office Osawa group. While still working withing the GGF, she would take on a few additional voice casting rolls, with her first TV appearance in 2003's Di Gi Charat Nyo! as Akari Usada, but her first main character role came the following year after joining Office Osawa in 2007's Idolmaster: Xenoglossia as Haruka Amami. In 2013, Iguchi would see the release of her debut album under how own name, instead of one a character that she voices. The movie A Certain Magical Index: The Movie – The Miracle of Endymion, in which she also is cast as the main character Index, uses her song named Shining Star-☆-LOVE Letter where it became the 29th rank on the Oricon monthly sales charts for February 2013.

Notable Appearances

Iguchi is a well seasoned voice actor, with over a decade of experience she has been cast into many leading and well known roles throughout her career. Some of her more recognised work is as follows;

  • A Certain Magical Index: Index Librorum Prohibitorum
    Index is the main character throughout the series. Raised in the anglican church, she also has perfect memory, meaning that she is unable to forget anything that comes into her knowledge, this is combined with the ability of being able to study grimoires without any of the adverse effects, she holds entire libraries of books within her knowledge.

  • Girls und Panzer: Mako Reizei
    Mako is a second year student at Ooarai Girls Academy and is the driver for the Anglerfish team, which the series follows. While being typically quiet, typically lacking any expression, and has a problem with having a low blood pressure, she makes up for this with her ability to lean and adapt to a situation, becoming the top student within her class. Through this, she was easily able to understand how to drive a tank in very short amount of time, which became as a requirement when the tank's designated driver in a mock-up match was knocked out.

  • Monogatari: Tsukihi Araragi
    Tsukihi is the youngest sister to the story's main protagonist Koyomi Araragi, and makes up the second half of the Tsuganoki Second Junior High School's Fire Sisters duo with her older sister Karen Araragi. With the series long running time, Tsukihi is a reoccuring character throughout the entire series, but takes a more protagonist role in the Nisemonogatari and Orokamonogatari publications.

  • The World God Only Knows: Kujo Tsukiyo
    Kujo is a secondary character throughout the series taking the role as Keima Katsuragi's eight capture target. She is the sole member of the Majima Private High School Astronomy Club, where she spends her nights up on the school roof with her telescope and trusted toll friend Luna. When she becomes the holder of an evil spirit, it causes her to shrink down to the size of Luna, as she sees Luna as perfect, with that perfection being something she strives for.

  • Sakura Trick: Yuu Sonoda
    Yuu is one half of the series' two lead characters alongside Haruka Takayama. As the two students met in middle school, the series follow their life as they set into high school, growing older and more mature, they develop a love interest with each other, keeping it secret to their peers and relatives.
