The Lugnica Royal family are a notable noble family in the Kingdom of Lugnica. The Lugnica Royal Family were the rulers of Lugnica for many years until a mysterious disease systematically wiped them out.

Farsale Lugnica

Farsale Lugnica was previously a king of Lugnica. It is reported that over 400 years ago he forged a contract with the Divine Dragon Volcanica to end the conflict between Lugnica and the Vollachia Empire. As a result of his contract, there was a peace between the two countries. Farsale is known as the last "Lion King".

Emerada Lugnica

Emerada Lunica was a Pricess of Lugnica. She was born and lived her life before the Demi Human War, which took place more than fifty years before the main story. It is said that Emereada was intelligent but impossibly cruel. She was considered a nonconformist within the royal family, and showed darkness and contempt towards others. According to [Miklotov McMahon] she showed the necessary qualities to be a Lion King. She died at a young age due to a disease, and news of her death was hidden. When her death was reported the nation did not mourn, and she was not given a state funeral.

Gionis Lugnica

Gionis Lugnica was the 40th King of Lugnica. His successor was Randohal Lugnica. Gionis was a cheerful and relaxed man with red eyes and golden hair. He was said to be a moral person, which was exhibited when he forgave Wilhelm for disrupting the sword ceremony for Theresia. He was seen as not fit for military leadership due to the conflicts that arose between the Vollachia Empire and Lugnica.

Randohal Lugnica

Randohal Lugnica was the 41st King of Lugnica. Despite not appearing in the story, it can be assumed that he had red eyes and golden hair. He is said to be a good man with the interest of the kingdom at heart, but lacked the abilitiy to play political favor when facing the council of wise men. Randohal was the first to die from the unknown disease, which spread to the rest of the royal family until the very last member succomed to illness.

Ford Lugnica

Ford Lugnica was the younger brother of the 41st King of Lugnica, Randohal Lugnica. It is suspected that he is the father of Felt. Ford entrusted Rom with his baby, sharing his anxieties about the future and wanting to keep his child safe. It is said that Ford had similar qualities that would qualify him to be the Lion King, unlike his older brother Randohal.

Zabinel Lugnica

Zabinel Lugnica was the First Prince of Lugnica, and son to Randohal Lugnica. He was patient zero of the disease that eventually wiped out the royal family, however it was first diagonosed as simple fatigue. It then went on to kill Zabniel and the rest of the royal family.

Fourier Lugnica

Fourier Lugnica was the Fourth Prince of Lugnica, son to the 41st King of Lugnica, Randohal Lugnica. Like the rest of his family, he had red eyes and and golden hair. He was known for wearing dress clothes along with a fur-lined coat. He was childhood friends with Ferris and Crusch Karsten, gaining their respect with his sense of responsibility and dependability. It is said that he exhibited the qualities required of a Lion King, with an intuition that made him seem wise beyond his years.

Fourier has first seen Crusch from a distance when he was 14 years old, immediately falling in love with her but was too embarassed to approach. He would sneak to the courtyard regularly in disguise to catch a glimpse of her, and before long he was discovered when he fell into the garden. Crusch pulled a dagger on him, and Fourier had to convince her that his intentions were pure. The two became good friends, and he would influence Crusch's view of the kingdom and the world around them. It wasn't long before he met Ferris, and the trio shared the experience of growing up under the expectations and views of royal life.

Fourier recommended Ferris for knighthood, which admitted him into the prestigous Royal Guard to serve Crusch who was on the rise to be the head of a noble house in the kingdom. Fourier was using his intuition to protect his friends, his kingdom, and to provide support from behind the scenes.

Fourier succomed to the illness that plagued the rest of his family, but with the support of Crusch and the Royal Insitute of Healing, he fought valliantly for over a year. Eventually he asked Crusch to take him to the courtyard where they first met, and he admitted his feelings for her before passing away in her lap.
