Synopsis

Asahi Kashiwagi is a painfully ordinary high school guy who, while on his way to school one morning, encounters a series of mishaps that align with the strange television fortune he saw earlier that morning. In the midst of this trouble, he has the worst possible encounter with five girls. Exhausted from the morning’s events, he finally arrives at school where he sees the same five girls, who are actually transfer students and a new teacher. Feeling so embarrassed he could die, he tries to keep hidden, but there’s no way he can. Then, his self-proclaimed best bud Yoshio Ijuin asks him about his relationship to the five girls. As he spends time with them, he realizes the misunderstandings between them and begins to open up a little. Then, after school, he opens his shoe locker to find a love letter inside telling him to come to the cherry tree in the back of the school. Even this was predicted by his morning fortune, so he heads to the tree to find out who is waiting for him. In the season of dancing cherry blossoms, five winds of love blow, and a fleeting, painful adolescent love story begins.
