Synopsis
Takunomi. is a hilarious look at the life of Michiru Amatsuki, a 20 year old who recently moved to Tokyo from Okayama for a new job. She lives in an all-woman house called the Stella House Haruno with a few other women (Nao, Makoto, and Kae) and despite their differences in careers, age, and favorite kinds of alcohol, all is well in the house as long as they have liquor and delicious food to enjoy together!

Background
Takunomi. (たくのみ。, lit. “Drinking at Home”) began as a Japanese four-panel manga series written by Haruto Hino. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s online app MangaONE since August 2015, and as of February 2018 there are three tankobon volumes. A 12-episode TV anime adaptation by Production IMS directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Steins;Gate) premiered in January 2018 and is available to stream on HIDIVE with English, Latin American Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles.

Nao Kiriyama is a 26 year old who works at a clothing store. She has a lively personality and preference for beer. She lives in room 201.

Makoto Kiriyama is 21 year old and the younger sister of Nao. Currently a third year college student, she’s looking for work to do once she graduates. She is calmer and more level-headed than her sister, and her beautiful looks often get her scouted on the street. Her favorite way to drink alcohol is in sweet cocktails. She lives in room 203.

Kae Midorikawa is a 27-year-old wedding planner who can’t seem to keep a partner herself. She likes drinking wine and cooks delicious food for the other women in the house. She lives in room 204.
