Synopsis

Yumenosaki Private Academy is a special training school dedicated to turning out the best new male idols. Four-man idol unit Trickstar formed by Hokuto Hidaka, Subaru Akehoshi, Makoto Yuuki, and Mao Isara, has its sights set on the top, but to be crowned king of the school idol stage they’ll have to triumph in the so called “DreamFes” concert…

Background

Ensemble Stars! is a multimedia idol raising franchise created by Happy Elements which began with a mobile card collecting game for smartphones released in April 2015. The anime adaptation was first announced in the same year and slated for a 2017 broadcast but was later delayed and then relaunched with a completely new creative team led by original scenario writer Akira. The first season of the TV anime will air from July 7, 2019.

Hokuto Hidaka (Voiced by: Tomoaki Maeno)

Koga Oogami (Voiced by: Yuki Ono)

Something of a ladies man, Kaoru is a laid-back type who likes to take things at his own pace.
