Demon Slayer - Merchandise
Demon Slayer is a popular manga series that received an anime adaptation that aired between April and September 2019 and went on to become an instant hit. The series was quickly licensed outside of Japan to multiple streaming services around the world. An English dub was later produced and aired later that same year. After the final episode of the anime series aired, an announcement that a movie titled Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train was released. The movie is set to be released later in 2020 and adapts the “Infinite Train” arc of the manga. Merchandise based on Demon Slayer has become increasingly popular as time went on, particularly for its iconic characters. Demon Slayer Mini Clear File Collection Vol. 2 Box Set

Demon Slayer B3 Size Tapestry Collection
This collection includes three different tapestries for fans to choose from. Each item has a different design and features different characters. One has Tanjiro and Giyu in a snowy mountain setting, the second has Zenitsu and Inosuke acting like they usually do, which the last tapestry has a full portrait of Giyu with an intimidating look on his face and a hand on his sword, as if he is about to strike a demon down.

About Demon Slayer
Demon Slayer is a shonen manga written and illustrated by Kotoharu Gotouge, an elusive author whose real identity is unknown to the general public that depicts themselves as a fictional character: a pencil-drawn crocodile who wears glasses. An anime adaptation done by the studio Ufotable ran in 2019, launching the series into worldwide fame and popularity.
The series follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy living in the Taisho era (1912-1925) in Japan. In this world, deadly monsters known as demons exist and terrorize humans. One day, Tanjirou comes home and finds that his family has been murdered by a demon. His little sister, Nezuko, was still alive, but was turned into a demon. Shortly after, the two encounter a Demon Slayer who aims to kill Tanjiro’s little sister. Tanjiro manages to stop him and defends Nezuko despite the fact that she is now a man-eating demon. The Demon Slayer, moved by this act, sends Tanjiro to his mentor so he could try to prove himself worthy of becoming a Demon Slayer. Tanjiro then starts on a journey to find a cure for his sister’s condition.
Eventually, Tanjiro finds Urokodaki, the Demon Slayer’s mentor, who agrees to train him and, after undergoing a long and arduous process, he becomes stronger and sets out to take the final test in order to officially become a member of the Demon Slayers. Since the release of the manga in 2016, Demon Slayer has sold over 4 million copies worldwide and is one of the few manga series to top One Piece in monthly sales in more than 10 years.
Popularity of the characters
The most popular characters among fans are Tanjiro Kamado and his little sister, Nezuko Kamado. That said, other major characters like Zenitsu and Inosuke have quite a fan following as well. Merchandise featuring these characters tends to be the most popular and are often items that sell out the quickest. Giyu Tomioka is a supporting character that also enjoys a great amount of popularity among fans because of his cool demeanor and character design, making him just as popular as the main characters despite his supporting role and lack of screen time.
Other popular supporting characters include feminine duo consisting of the Insect Pillar Shinobu Kochou and her protegé Kanao Tsuyuri, who is the same age as Tanjiro and became part of the Demon Corps at the same time.
