About Fire Emblem

Fire Emblem is a series of turn-based tactical fantasy role-playing games that is developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for a variety of consoles, including the Game Boy Advance, 3DS, and Switch. The first Fire Emblem entry was only released in Japan for the Family Computer (Famicom). Since the release of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, a total of sixteen mainline games and three spin-off titles have been released. The gameplay of the Fire Emblem games often takes the form of a turn-based system that has two opposing armies facing each other. Each character has their own statistics, usable weapons, and abilities, which allows the player to come up with a variety of different strategies to defeat their enemies. If the player chooses a harder difficulty, characters can be permanently killed in battle, requiring players to carefully choose a plan of action. Many of these games also have a medieval fantasy setting that tells the story of several kingdoms at war with each other, creating deep, intricate stories for the player to enjoy.
