Kakegurui Compulsive Gambler is a widely popular series and the manga was first published on the 22nd of March 2014. It was written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura. The story is about Hyakkaou Private Academy which has many noble and prestigious students. There are no classes apart from gambling as that is how they learn the skills to read their opponents and win. Due to its popularity, it has released an anime and even a live-action drama. The protagonist of the series is Yumeko Jabami, a girl who loves and is obsessed with gambling more than anything. Her crazy actions and love of gambling have gained the attention of many fans resulting in many products being released. One popular product includes the “Nendoroid Kakegurui Yumeko Jabami”.

The crazy gambler, Yumeko Jabami joins the Nendoroid family. She is already a very beautiful character but being made into a Nendoroid makes her even cuter. Her outfit consists of the Hyakkaou Private Academy uniform which is a white shirt with a red blazer on top. Her skirt is black with gray patterns and she wears black stockings with her brown school shoes. On her thumb is a silver ring that she is always seen wearing.
Yumeko comes with three different faceplates. The first one shows her standard expression of a kind smile. The second faceplate shows the ecstatic expression she has when she is immersed in gambling. The last expression shows a scary coercing face she has when she is trying to get her payment for winning the bet. There are also various optional features to enjoy a wide range of poses. The included features are playing cards, a stack of money, and a livestock card necklace to show that she is in debt.

About Yumeko Jabami: Background
At first, Yumeko appears to be a sweet and naive young girl but she can be very aggressive. When Yumeko transfers into Hyakkaou Private Academy she is immediately challenged by Mary Saotome to a game where they gamble a huge amount of money. Mary had the best gambling ability in the class and wanted to make sure Yumeko knew her place. Despite the odds against Yumeko, she was able to win, showing great confidence.
Yumeko loves gambling so much that she would never decline an offer to play a game. She enjoys the thrill of gambling and the high risks there are. Instead of fear of the debt or burden, she must carry if she loses she takes pleasure from it. In fact, she doesn’t care if she loses and instead uses it as another means to gamble more. She loves the feeling of gambling the most in the world and wishes her friend to experience the same feeling. At times she can force her friends to also take on heavy risks to share the thrill. Although she loves the thrill of gambling she hates it when someone will purposely take on all the risk.
Even though Yumeko is always very polite and kind, she can also be very cold. She can calmly point out her opponents’ cheating and act very bloodthirsty. While acting harmless and clueless, in an instant she can change into a predator as she hounds the loser for their payment. She loves indulging in her gambling thrill but understands that it is not the norm. This is why she greatly appreciates her friends that have the same value and gamble with high risks.
About Yumeko Jabami: Abilities
Yumeko has superhuman senses such as memory and observation. She is able to notice a slight difference in the pattern of a deck of cards with only a short amount of time to observe. When her opponents cheat she is also able to notice the slight movements they take allowing her to outwit her opponent.

Kirari Momobami
Kirari is the student council president of Hyakkaou Private Academy. Like Yumeko, she also enjoys gambling with very high risks and tends to go all or nothing. Kirari is the main antagonist of the series and is the one who implemented the pet system which encouraged bullying and mistreatment.
Mary Saotome
Mary is someone Yumeko considers a great friend who is also quite good at gambling. At first, Mary is very cruel towards those with a lower status than her, and she keeps winning due to her cheating. After being defeated by Yumeko she loses her pride and cruel self. After regaining her position she is no longer arrogant but still confident in her abilities to gamble. She is sometimes stressed over Yumeko’s gambling habits but cares for her and lends her strength.
