Synopsis
Five high school boys are taking remedial classes when suddenly they are sent across dimensions into an anime world. Now they must cross between the anime world and real life in order to stop a god of destruction from conquering the 3D world.
Background
Dimension High School is a live-action/anime hybrid being produced by Polygon Pictures with Yuuichi Abe directing and Izumi handling character designs. The opening theme will be "Here we go!" by 4 Dimensions. It will premiere in Japan on Jan. 10, 2019.
Characters
Yurio Mizukami (Voiced by: Shohei Hashimoto)
A third-year student at Dimension High School. He is pale skinned and has a weak constitution. He is good friends with Tsuyoshi.
Junpei Shiroyama (Voiced by: Takahide Ishii)
A third-year student at Dimension High School. Unremarkable in skill and with no clear vision for his future, he is enjoying a normal high school life. His only hobby is tending to the vegetable garden at home.
Ryusei Midorigaoka (Voiced by: Takeo Otsuka)
A third-year student at Dimension High School. He always gets the best grades. He is very fond of Soshi and volunteered for remedial classes for this reason. He is neurotic and prideful, and has an attitude toward everyone but Soshi.
Tsuyoshi Kikawada (Voiced by: Takuma Zaiki)
A third-year student at Dimension High School. He was seriously injured in a biking accident two years ago and is repeating a grade. He is bad at studying and would rather take action over using his head.
Soshi Momoya (Voiced by: Toshiyuki Someya)
The physics teacher at Dimension High School in charge of the boys’ remedial class. He is polite and popular throughout the school.
Dimensional Messenger (Voiced by: Shota Aoi)
An extra-dimensional entity who watches over the boys’ story.
Spudio (Voiced by: Takuya Eguchi)
A talking meteorite who holds the key to what happened to Yurio and the boys.
Sphynx (Voiced by: Junichi Suwabe)
A god of destruction who wants to rule over the 3D world.
