Rerulili (stylized as rerulili) is a Tokyo-based Vocaloid producer/singer. He produces various songs of rock, jazz, funk, and blues. rerulili is also referred to as ToushahiP(当社比P); the nickname is a running joke by fans on how some the title of his songs include "the greatest".

His debut song is "Itsumo Yori Nakimushi na Sora" (A Sadder Sky). This first original song by Reruili became second on the weekly ranking on the video streaming site, Nico Nico Douga.

About the Artist

rerulili has also uploaded videos of his own singing. He is highly regarded not only as a Vocaloid producer but also as a well-accomplished singer. He is skilled with instruments; his most proficient instruments are the guitar, piano, and bass.

rerulili's Twitter account has over 140,000 followers and was initially used to advertise his music in addition to telling the world his thoughts. In recent years, his posts have almost always been photos of his meals and drinks. Because of this more lax approach to the social media platform, thousands of fans enjoy his posts and it is not uncommon for a tweet that simply shows a drink to reach over 2,000 likes.

rerulili is a proficient guitarist in addition to his writing, composing, directing, and producing. He has a collection of guitars including Stratocasters that cost in excess of $3000 USD and will often use recordings of his playing the guitar for his musical arrangements. He as a foundation in Japanese pop music but will often compose a wide range of music that incorporates rock, jazz, funk, and even blues. On his now-defunct website, rerulili would post the lyrics to his songs in addition to the video, something that many artists at the time seldom did. This free distribution of his lyrics allowed for a greater reach among fans and fellow composers. It also allowed him to collaborate with many Vocaloid artists, though rerulili usually produces Vocaloid music by himself. Although he uses a variety of Vocaloids, he prefers Hatsune Miku to the others.

His first Hatsune Miku song uploaded was "The Sky Who is Being a Bigger Crybaby than Usual" on September 11, 2009. It currently has over 300,000 views. In 2011, his non-Vocaloid song "Mr.Music" was uploaded which was a collaboration with many music producers who were active on Nico Nico Douga. It currently stands at 1.5 million views.

However, rerulili's first song to reach one million views is "Brain Fluid Explosion Girl" featuring Vocaloids GUMI and Hatsune Miku on January 11, 2013. The song is about two girls who are bored with society and are looking for something that will give them a thrill. Subsequently, "Brain Fluid Explosion Girl" has been adapted into a novel, comic, and movie. In the novel, two schoolgirls resembling GUMI and Hatsune Miku becone trapped in a game of death at their school and must survive various tasks in order to make it out alive. The manga adaption did not follow the novel's story. Instead, it told the story of a girl who becomes a prostitute in order the earn money for her dream of becoming an idol. The movie, released in 2015, holds a 5.8 rating on IMDb out of 53 reviews. The film reverts back to the original concept of the song, where students are forced to participate in deadly competitions where only one victor will remain.

On November 8, 2013, rerulili made his major debut with his concept album "Human Zoo Hell". This album was a compilation featuring 11 artists who each contributed their own songs that contained themes consistent with rerulili's previous work. All of the track titles end with "Girl" which forms a relationship with Brain Fluid Explosion Girl.

On his blog "relulili's Brain Explosion Class", he teaches aspiring producers. He explains the dos and don'ts of music production in a very cut-and-dry manner.
