Background

The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window began as a manga series written and illustrated by Tomoko Yamashita that was serialized in the Boys’ Love manga magazine Magazine Be x Boy from March 2013 to December 2020. The manga was later released in collected tankobon volumes by Libre under their Kurofune Comics imprint, with the 10th and final volume released in March 2021. It has sold more than 1 million copies in Japan as of January 2020. The manga has been licensed for English release in North America through Viz Media, who have published 8 of the 10 volumes as of March 2021.
