Synopsis
Invited out by school beauty Cosmos and his childhood friend Himawari, Amatsuyu “Joro” Kirasagi is certain that he's going to get a love confession, but they each tell him that they like someone else. Meanwhile, it turns out that Sumireko “Pansy” Sanshokuin, a gloomy girl with glasses who Joro always hated because she constantly makes fun of him, is actually the only girl who has a crush on him.
Background
Ore wo Suki na no wa Omae Dake ka yo is adapted from the series of light novels by Rakuda with illustrations by Buriki. The anime adaptation was announced at "Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Fall Dengeki Festival" on Oct. 7, 2018 and the first season will premiere on Oct. 2, 2019.
Shuka Saito will perform the first season opening theme “Papapa" while ending theme “Hanakotoba" will be performed by voice actresses Haruka Tomatsu, Haruka Shiraishi, and Sachika Misawa.

Amatsuyu "Joro" Kisaragi (Voiced by: Daiki Yamashita)
Amatsuyu "Joro" Kisaragi is a totally “average” second-year high school student.
Aoi "Himawari" Hinata (Voiced by: Haruka Shiraishi)
Aoi "Himawari" Hinata is a classmate and old friend of Joro’s. She's also the ace of the school’s tennis club and is great at sports but less so at studying. Bright and cheerful, Himawari is loved by everyone.
Sumireko "Pansy" Sanshokuin (Voiced by: Haruka Tomatsu)
Sumireko "Pansy" Sanshokuin is the kind of girl who spends all of summer vacation in the library. Despite her elegant name Sumireko is plain with thick glasses and is constantly rude to Joro.
Sakura "Cosmos" Akino (Voiced by: Sachika Misawa)
Cosmos is the student council president at Joro’s school. She might look cool and intimidating but is actually very friendly and highly regarded by her schoolmates. Not only is she beautiful, she’s the number one student too!
Taiyo “San-chan” Oga (Voiced by: Yuma Uchida)
Taiyo “San-chan” Oga is a friend of Joro’s from middle school and a talented sportsman, though his grades are a little iffy. The ace of the baseball team, he is always bright, cheerful, and ready to give it his all, but he really hates to lose.
