Synopsis

The adventure of Yuki and his friends begins again! Their meeting was sudden. They hit it off and form a guild. Their name - Gourmet Edifice. Their goal is to explore and enjoy all the cuisine Landsol has to offer, and in doing so they deepen their bonds of friendship, whether eating something delicious with good company or braving dangerous adventures together. But their hidden thoughts and feelings soon begin to tangle, and they find themselves caught up in unprecedented trouble…

Background

Princess Connect! Re:Dive is a mobile JRPG developed by Cygames and the sequel to Princess Connect!. It was announced in August 2016 and was released in Japan in February 2018 on Android and iOS devices.

A manga adaptation written by Asahiro Kakashi and illustrated by wEshica/Shogo has been serialized online through Cygames' Cycomics manga app beginning in 2018. Kodansha has released two collected tankobon volumes to date.

The second season of the anime adaptation was announced in August 2020. It is once again being produced by CygamesPictures (Blade Runner: Black Out 2022) and features Takaomi Kanasaki (Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, Is This a Zombie? of the Dead, KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) as chief director and series composer, with Yasuo Iwamoto (Fairy Tail, Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back) as director, Lie Jun Yang (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc), Mai Watanabe (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Steins;Gate) , Satomi Kurita (Hina Logic - from Luck & Logic, Peach Boy Riverside), and Yasuyuki Noda (Bikkuriman 2000, Duel Masters King!) handling character designs, and IMAGINE (Burn the Witch, DanMachi III, Azur Lane) composing the music. The anime will premiere in Japan on Jan. 10, 2022 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other channels.

Characters

Pecorine (Voiced by: M.A.O)
The guildmaster of Gourmet Edifice. Pecorino is a nickname given to her by Kokkoro, and her real name is Eustiana von Astraea. She has a bottomless stomach and a cheerful personality. In the real world, she’s an actual princess of a small country that created Legends of Astrum.

Kokkoro (Voiced by: Miku Ito)
A quiet elven girl who is appointed by Ameth to be Yuki’s guide, whom she is devoted to. In the real world, she is the only daughter of a developer of Legends of Astrum and one of the Seven Crowns. She develops a liking for Yuki after he befriends her in the real world during elementary school when she was having trouble fitting in.

Karyl (Voiced by: Rika Tachibana)
A cat beast girl who is ordered by Mana Senri to keep tabs on Yuki and Pecorine. However, after spending time with the group, she starts to become attached and ends up becoming a founding member of Gourmet Edifice.

Yuki (Voiced by: Atsushi Abe)
The hero who has amnesia due to his battle with Kaiser Insight. He is a good-natured person who can’t leave those in trouble alone. He founded the Gourmet Edifice guild and has a strange power that buffs his allies.

Ameth (Voiced by: Yuki Aisaka)
A former Guide Fairy who previously accompanied Yuki under the name Fio when he was still a member of Twinkle Wish before his amnesia. She now works to restore Landsol and help Yuki regain his lost memories.

Labyrista (Voiced by: Miyuki Sawashiro)
A guild master and one of the Seven Crowns who is also known as Queen Labyrista. She grants Yuki special powers and becomes his Princess Knight. She runs a crepe shop in the real world.

Kaiser Insight (Voiced by:
One of the Seven Crowns who also goes by the name Mana Senri. She orders Karyl to spy on Yuki and Pecorine. Though she uses a female avatar in the game, she is actually male in real life.

Mimi (Voiced by: Rina Hidaka)
A beast girl and the guild master of the unofficial guild Little Lyrical. She likes bunny accessories and has a cheerful personality. She tends to get lost easily.

Misogi (Voiced by: Sumire Morohoshi)
A mischievous girl and member of the unofficial guild Little Lyrical. She likes to play pranks on others.

Kyouka (Voiced by: Yui Ogura)
A level-headed member of the unofficial guild Little Lyrical whom Mimi and Misogi rely on. Despite her cute appearance, she has a bit of a sharp tongue.

Ayumi (Voiced by: Eri Ozeki)
An elf girl and member of the Weiß Flügel Landsol Branch who is interested in Yuki and watches him from afar, too shy to approach him. She has so little presence most people don’t notice her.
