Charlotte Katakuri is a character within the One Piece series. One Piece was both written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda beginning in 1997. In July of that year, the One Piece manga saw its first publication through the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. This caused a huge popularity spike for the series, creating an anime of the same name starting in October 1999. This anime is still running today and now has more than 900 episodes. Charlotte Katakuri is one of the Three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. He serves as an antagonist due to his actions. This non-scale figure of Charlotte Katakuri was created in honor of the 20th anniversary of One Piece. Katakuri stands at approximately 7.7” tall with his fist in the sky, ready to wreak havoc on those below him. There is no small amount of detail included in this figure. His muscles are sculpted true to the original character, with detailed veins across his arms, torso, and face. The tattoos on his arm and torso are also very prominent, the red-painted brightly across his skin. The ruffles around his neck are also highly detailed, as well as his hair and facial expression. This non-scale figure of Charlotte Katakuri stands ready for battle at approximately 9.1” tall. He is pictured in his iconic appearance seen throughout the series, with his scarf, tattoos, and Mogura in his hand. He’s lunging forward with the Mogura held in his right hand, in the middle of striking his opponent. The detail of this figure most certainly can’t be overstated. Each piece is sculpted to perfection, making the piece look real. The ruffles of his scarf in particular look real as if they are soft to the touch. About Charlotte Katakuri
Charlotte Katakuri is an extremely tall, muscular man with short spiky red hair and tattoos across his torso and left arm. He has two symmetric scars across each side of his face which he covers with a large scarf. Katakuri is a diligent man who is calm and serious, doing what it takes to achieve his goals. Katakuri is the second son of the Charlotte Family, as well as the elder triplet of Daifuku and Oven. He’s also one of the Three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates as well as the Minister of Flour. Katakuri serves as a secondary antagonist due to his role in these groups as well as his actions.
Other Important One Piece Characters
Charlotte Linlin is the mother of Katakuri, as well as the captain of the Big Mom Pirates. She is better known as Big Mom and is also one of the Four Emperors ruling over the New World. She is the matriarch of the Charlotte Family, which is what makes up the Big Mom Pirates crew. She rules as the queen of Totto Land, which she seeks to turn into a utopia for all to enjoy. Big Mom is absolutely enormous, standing just shy of 29 feet tall, but she is not a giant. In fact, she is just shy of giant size, where the minimum is 12 meters.
Monkey D. Luffy serves as the protagonist within the One Piece series. As a child, he admired pirates but was rejected when attempting to join the “Red-Haired” Shanks. He accidentally ate their precious treasure thereafter, causing him to gain a special ability. He was then able to manipulate his body at will like rubber. Luffy then decided to create his very own pirate group, becoming the founder of the Straw Hat Pirates. Katakuri has some admiration for Luffy, who continued to fight him when there was seemingly no chance to win.
