Son Gohan may not be the primary protagonist of the Dragon Ball series, but his growth and prominence throughout the series are main character level. Dragon Ball Kai DXF Fighting Combination Vol. 4 Gohan Figure

This figure from Banpresto shows Gohan in his teenage years, seasoned from fighting in the World Tournament. The pose is dramatic. Gohan is mid-air, his arms raised for stability as he prepares to land a devastating dropkick. As part of the Dragon Ball Kai figure series, it comes with a hexagonal base. Together these bases can easily stage battle scenes or even stack on top of each other to create vertical dimension in a full display. The figure’s dynamism and set versatility aren’t its only strong points. Dragon Ball Super Super Saiyan 2 Gohan Youth (Ichinbansho Figure)

This upcoming figure from Bandai recreates one of the most defining moments in young Gohan’s fights. Here Gohan has achieved Super Saiyan 2 form and is about to unleash a groundbreaking one-handed Kamehameha. Head on, the figure is daunting. The power of Gohan’s fighting spirit, though weakened from battle, comes through in spots of tension in the pose. While the pose is certainly impressive, fully capturing the historic moment, the painting detail sets this figure apart. The ball of ki in Gohan’s hand isn’t illuminated in any way, but a light coating of pale blue paint acting as light on the figure gives the impression of real energy glowing. About Son Gohan

Gohan is the first son of Son Goku and his wife Chi-Chi. As a half-Saiyan, Gohan has all the abilities of a Saiyan but he lacks the characteristic fighting spirit. Instead, Gohan prefers intellectual activities and fights only to protect loved ones. Despite claiming not to like fighting, which at the moment Gohan does enjoy, eventually, he becomes one of the most powerful fighters in the series. At a young age, Gohan began training with Piccolo and grew to have a deeply affectionate relationship with his father’s former archrival. Fans note that Gohan’s development is one of the strongest in the series.

Other Important Dragon Ball Characters

Chi-Chi is Princess of Fire Mountain, daughter of the Ox-king, and eventually Goku’s human wife and mother to Gohan and Goten. She met Goku when they were children and made a promise with him that one day she would be his bride. When they marry and have children, Chi-Chi is reluctant to let Gohan train in martial arts. Her temper is one of the only things Goku fears and she is one of the strongest women on Earth due to her childhood training.

Son Goten is Gohan’s younger brother. Despite spending the early years of his life without knowing his father, Goten takes after his father’s lighthearted spirit. He is allowed to train in martial arts earlier than his brother and thus learns to transform into Super Saiyan at a young age. His best friend is Trunks and together they stir up trouble. Eventually, he and Trunks learn the Fusion Dance technique allowing them to combine their powers and become Gotenks.
