Synopsis

Kazuya Kinoshita is a lonely college student who decides to use a rental girlfriend service and meets Chizuru Mizuhara, the ideal girlfriend in every way. After going out on a date, he lies to his family and friends that she is his actual girlfriend and must continue to rent her to keep his lie from being found out. Soon, Kazuya is surrounded by other rental girlfriends, each cute and quirky in their own way.

There’s Ruka Sarashina, an assertive girl with a heart condition who is searching for someone who can make her heart beat faster, and Sumi Sakurasawa, a painfully shy girl who easily gets flustered and is trying her best to change herself. Then there’s his ex-girlfriend, a devilish girl named Mami who seems to be a bit jealous after seeing Kazuya with Chizuru and begins to closely follow their relationship.

Drinking parties, swimming, hot spring trips, Christmas, New Year’s…Kazuya’s feelings for Chizuru continue to grow through the memories they’ve made together. But then Chizuru makes a confession that will shake their relationship: she’s thinking of quitting being a rental girlfriend!
