Synopsis

Upheaval begins in Yamato with the fall of the emperor. Oshtor, the General of the Right, is a fugitive being hunted on the suspicion of poisoning Empress Anju. While battling his pursuers, he uses the full power of the Akuruka, fusing his body and soul with the world. As he departs, he entrusts the future of Anju and Nekone to his friend Haku. Disguising himself in Oshtor’s mask and assuming his identity, Haku gives up his old life. Only Nekone knows of his true identity. Together with Anju, they escape to Ennakamui, where Anju begins to recover and rises up to reclaim her rightful place as empress. Meanwhile, Raikou, one of the Eight Pillar Generals, has taken advantage of the chaos in Yamato to establish a false empress and take over the country. Soon, Yamato’s army reaches Ennakamui to eliminate the real empress, and a war that will engulf the entire region begins…
