Square Enix Masterline NieR: Automata 2B (YoRHa No. 2 Type B) 1/4 Scale Statue Figure

This impressive figure is the first creation in Square Enix’s Masterline series and showcases 2B in almost lifelike detail. 2B is posed standing elegantly on top of the remains of a defeated Machine and rubble as she holds her sword in her right hand. Every nook and cranny of this figure is packed with unbelievable amounts of detail. This can be seen especially in the texture of the fabric that makes up her dress and the seams that hold it together. The other parts of her outfit, like her gloves and her boots, also have a notably smoother, sleeker texture, which adds some added variety as well. This figure also includes other things like her Pod 042, which is perched on top of the scrapped Machine. An extra head part also allows users to display 2B both with and without her black visor as well. Nendoroid NieR: Automata 2B (YoRHa No. 2 Type B) Figure

This figure from the popular Nendoroid line takes 2B’s design and gives it an adorable chibi-style twist. Although many aspects of 2B’s design are still present, like her original black dress, long thigh-high boots, and matching gloves, her head is nearly as large as the rest of her body, emphasizing the cuter aspects of the character. Like many other Nendoroid figures, this recreation of 2B is articulated and includes a variety of extra parts to let users pose 2B in many different ways. The extra parts that come with this figure include two faceplates, two different weapons, two attack effects, several pairs of limbs, and her Pod 042. The included stand is also articulated to keep 2B standing, no matter what pose she is in.

About 2B

2B is the first playable character in NieR: Automata and is a combat-geared Android created by YoRHa, the military force representing humans against the war with the aliens’ Machines. 2B is often seen as cold and professional, yet kind and caring. When it comes to following orders, she is incredibly compliant and respects the hierarchy within YoRHa, and generally does not make decisions based on her emotions. That said, 2B is capable of succumbing to her emotions, especially when her companions are involved. Many fans like 2B for her attractive design and surprising depth of character, which also led to her making several cameo appearances in other media. Such examples include Soulcalibur VI, SINoALICE, and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

Other Important NieR: Automata Characters

9S is a Scanner Android that is often sent with 2B on missions and acts as support since 2B is more combat-oriented. Although his child-like curiosity might clash with 2B’s no-nonsense personality, 2B does come to care deeply for 9S, though the exact nature of this relationship was intentionally left vague. A2 is another YoRHa Android that both 2B and 9S come across in their adventures and is labeled as a defector and an enemy by their Commander.
