RWBY is an American 3D animated series that was created by Monty Oum of Rooster Teeth Production. The main plot of the story revolved around four main characters: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. These four characters form Team RWBY and train at the Beacon Academy in order to become Huntresses and fight against evil in the world. The first episode of the series was released in 2013 on the Rooster Teeth website, though it was later made available on other platforms like YouTube and Crunchyroll as it gained popularity. To date, there are seven complete seasons of the series with the eighth still currently airing as of December 2020. With the success of RWBY, manufacturers were quick to produce many kinds of merchandise, with one of the most popular kinds being figures of the protagonist, Ruby Rose. Nendoroid RWBY Ruby Rose Figure
This recreation of Ruby Rose takes her already cute design and adds an adorable chibi-style flair to it. Although articulated figures often sacrifice detail for maneuverability, this figure still manages to include an impressive amount of detail. Minute details like the folds in her dress to the lacing on her boots are clearly and cleanly sculpted, which gives the figure a high-quality finish. About Ruby Rose
Ruby Rose is the leader of Team RWBY, which includes three other members. The R in RWBY also stands for her name and the color red, her signature color. She first appears in “Red”, one of the trailers for the animated series. Although she is the leader of Team RWBY, Ruby is the youngest member of the team and often struggles with her own naiveté and lack of experience. That said, she displays great qualities as a leader and is quite intelligent. Her dream is to one day become a Huntress to help save people from evil, even if it is at her own expense.

The W in Team RWBY stands for Weiss Schnee. She first appears in the “White” trailer for the animated series and has a matching color scheme. Although she is the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, her rebellious personality leads her to leave the life her father tried to give her so she could become a Huntress. She meets the other members of Team RWBY at Beacon Academy and fights with her Multi-Action Dust Rapier named Myrtenaster.
The B in Team RWBY stands for Blake Belladonna. She first appears in the “Black” trailer for RWBY and is introduced as a member of White Fang, a terrorist group led by Adam Taurus. However, she decides to leave White Fang in order to enroll in the Beacon Academy, where she meets the other members of Team RWBY. In battle, she wields her signature Gambol Shroud, a Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe.
The Y in Team RWBY stands for Yang Xiao Long, who appears in the “Yellow” trailer of the series. In this trailer, she reveals that her goal is to find her mother Raven Branwen, who had abandoned her when she was a child. In order to accomplish this goal, she enrolls in the Beacon Academy to one day become a Huntress. Her signature weapon is the Ember Silica, which is a pair of Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets.
