Synopsis

Kurumi Azuchimomoyama is an ordinary 14-year-old junior high school girl until she meets an angel named Devilun who looks like a Tasmanian devil and is transformed into the beautiful magical girl dinosaur angel warrior Prisma Pink. Together with a team of other magical girls, she is tasked with defeating the evil organization Darkness Whales. The girls’ exploits are witnessed by three of Kurumi’s male classmates who watch the entire thing unfold without lifting a finger to help.

Background

Seizei Ganbare! Maho Shoujo Kurumi is a "magical girl bystander gag anime." The third season is once again being produced by Pie in the Sky with Keisuke Matsumoto directing, Keisuke Matsumoto writing the script, and Wataru Uekusa designing the characters. The anime premiered in Japan on Oct. 7, 2020 on BS11.

Characters

Kiyoshi Sizuki (Voiced by: Yuu Hayashi)
One of Kurumi’s male classmates who witness her magical girl exploits, Kiyoshi has a serious and calm personality and is an ordinary junior high student.

Isamu Takahashi (Voiced by: Wataru Hatano)
One of Kurumi’s male classmates who witness her magical girl exploits, Isamu is a noisy idiot who likes ecchi things.

Shigeru Sato (Voiced by: Takuma Terashima)
One of Kurumi’s male classmates who witness her magical girl exploits, Shigeru is an ordinary student who’s a bit of an airhead and an otaku. He gets information online and knows a detailed amount about the Prima Angels and Dark Whales. He always wears slippers.

Kurumi Azuchimomoyama/Prima Pink (Voiced by: Yurika Kubo)
Kurumi is a cheerful, airheaded junior high school girl who is turned into a Prima Angel by Devilun. She has amazing talent as a Prima Angel and uses a variety of weapons to take out Dark Whales members.

Mizuki Sangenshoku/Prima Cyan (Voiced by: Hisako Kanemoto)
Mizuki is a quiet and intelligent junior high school girl who usually wears glasses but doesn't need to when she transforms into Prima Cyan. She uses swords and knives as her weapons of choice.

Mikan Unshuehime/Prima Orange (Voiced by: Mai Aizawa)
Mikan is an energetic and strong-willed junior high school girl. She has a habit of speaking in a Kansai dialect which gets worse when she’s angry or comes into contact with members of Dark Whales. She uses pistols and matchlocks as her weapons of choice.

Wakaba Satsukimidori/Prima Spring Green (Voiced by: Nozomi Yamamoto)
Wakaba is a timid and kind-hearted junior high school girl. She is shy and bad with machines. She has a habit of speaking in a Tohoku dialect. Her weapon of choice is a whip.

Tsubame Kouenji/Prima Enji (Voiced by: Lynn)
Tsubame is a positive and passionate junior high school girl. Highly competitive, she pushes herself too hard as a Prima Angel and ends up with a stress fracture during training. Her preferred weapon is a wolf’s teeth mace.

Great Emperor of Darkness (Voiced by: Sekita)
The head of the evil organization Dark Whales.

Pirate (Voiced by: Showtaro Morikubo)
One of the top members of Dark Whales, Pirate wants to take down the Prima Angels, but her plans never seem to work.

Karakuri (Voiced by: Showtaro Morikubo)
One of the top members of Dark Whales, Karakuri joined Dark Whales at the same time as Pirate and often fights with her.

Baron (Voiced by: Kenichi Suzumura)
One of the top members of Dark Whales, Baron speaks with a mysterious Kansai dialect.

Momohito Azuchimomoyama (Voiced by: Nozomi Yamamoto)
Momohito is Kurumi’s younger brother and is a fifth-year elementary school student. He has an impertinent personality and often makes fun of his older sister. When fighting he often takes on a rapping tone for some reason.

Gentleman Jacket (Voiced by: Daisuke Ono)
Gentleman Jacket is a mysterious, stylish-looking man who appears when Kurumi is in trouble. His true identity is that of college student Shinji Aokiyama whose everyday clothes are super unfashionable. He often keeps his face hidden.

Devilun (Voiced by: Keisuke Matsumoto)
Devilun is an angel who looks like a Tasmanian devil and has a dirty mouth. He turns Kurumi and the other girls into Prisma Angels. He is skilled in IT and subsists on rats and crows.
