Synopsis

Kaname Tojo is a girl from the countryside who moves to the city to attend college. Traumatized by aggressive “carnivore”-type men, she is looking to finally meet a kind and gentle “herbivore”-type man. To that end, she attends a mixer, where she meets the herbivore man she’s been dreaming of, Tsumugi Kume. She is strongly attracted to his calm, unassuming demeanor and feels she can let her guard down around him. But Tsumugi has a secret: he’s actually a carnivore man in disguise and can change his demeanor in an instant!

Background

3-byo Ato, Yaju.: Goukon de Suma ni Ita Kare wa Midara na Nikushoku Deshita is a teens love manga by Coa Momose, the first collected tankobon volume of which was released in March 2022. The second volume will be released in April.

Beast in 3 Seconds is an upcoming original AnimeFesta anime project based on Momose’s manga. Like previous AnimeFesta anime, two versions are being created: a censored “On-Air Ver.” and an uncensored “Premium Ver.,” each of which features a different voice cast. The anime is being produced by Staple Entertainment and features Ryo Nakamura as director, with Date Tsuyama handling the script, Andoryu Jugo Kuribayashi handling character designs, and Taeko Ogi credited as the chief animation director. The “On-Air Ver.” will premiere on April 3, 2022 on Tokyo MX and BS11 and will also be available to stream for free through the AnimeFesta website and their official YouTube page, while the “Premium Ver.” will be available exclusively through the AnimeFesta website for a fee.

Tsumugi is a 21-year-old third-year college student. He is an herbivore man who is treated as a prince in his dance circle. However, he is hiding his true nature.

Kaname Tojo (Voiced by: Shogo Yano (On-Air Ver.); Kaioraku (Premium Ver.))
Kaname is an 18-year-old first-year college student who moves to the city to attend school. Due to being too trusting of others, she has a habit of getting mixed up with bad boys. She meets Tsumugi one night at a mixer.

Yuto Azusawa (Voiced by: Yuya Hirose (On-Air Ver.); Yuma Aoi (Premium Ver.))
Yuto is a 20-year-old apprentice pastry chef and is childhood friends with Tsumugi. He has a gentle and kind personality.
