Synopsis

Fifteen years have passed since the demon lord was defeated, and the world has enjoyed a time of peace. Kotone Kazairo is in search of a new home and visits RPG Real Estate, but it turns out she actually works there! Her coworkers include the free-spirited and mischievous Fa, the priest Rufuria who is serious about her job, and Rakira, who despite her cute appearance is actually quite strong. Together with the three of them, Kotone works hard to meet the impossible requests of their eccentric customers who are in search of a home. Whether it’s underwater, up in the clouds, or anywhere in between, RPG Real Estate aims to please! The curtain rises on an otherworldly work fantasy series!

Background

RPG Real Estate began as a Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Chiyo Kenmotsu that has been serialized in Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat since July 2018. As of April 2021, the series has been published in three collected tankobon volumes.

A TV anime adaptation was announced in February 2021. It is being animated by Doga Kobo (Asteroid in Love, Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater, Gabriel DropOut) and features Tomoaki Koshida (The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) as director, with Yoshiko Nakamura (Hiiro no Kakera - The Tamayori Princess Saga, Sasaki and Miyano, Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) handling series composition and Motohiro Taniguchi (Cue!, My Sweet Tyrant, Re:Stage! Dream Days) handling character designs. The anime’s opening theme song is "Make Up Life!" by Honoka Inoue, Hina Kino, Natsumi Kawaida, and Manaka Iwami as their respective characters, and the ending theme song is "Awesome!" by idol group Maneki Kecak. The anime will premiere in Japan in April 2022.

Kotone Kazairo (Voiced by: Honoka Inoue)
Occupation: Magician
Though she graduated from school, Kotone lacks the courage to be an adventurer so instead gets a steady job at RPG Real Estate, a company affiliated with the kingdom. Her defining features are her long pink ponytail and flower-shaped earrings. Though she has a large chest, she often tries to wear Fa’s clothing even though they are too tight for her. She is neighbors with Fa.

Fa (Voiced by: Hina Kino)
Occupation: Unknown
Fa is an employee at RPG Real Estate. She can understand both demi-human and human languages, so she acts as an interpreter when dealing with demi-humans. She has light blue hair arranged in a braided ponytail. She was picked up in the forest by priestess Satona. She is neighbors with Kotone.

Rufuria (Voiced by: Natsumi Kawaida)
Occupation: Priest
Rufuria is an employee at RPG Real Estate who dreams of becoming a priest and looks up to her boss, Satona. She loves cute things and can’t sleep without her stuffed animal Popotan. She is childhood friends with Rakira and the two share an apartment together.

Rakira (Voiced by: Manaka Iwami)
Occupation: Fighter
Rakira is an employee at RPG Real Estate and a skilled cook who likes to bake pies. She has long black twintails, which she grew long after being repeatedly mistaken for being a boy when she was a child. Because of this, she sometimes goes out of her way to act girly. She is childhood friends with Rufuria and the two share an apartment together.
