Now cut off from the world, the city has become a playground for young people who have lost their families due to the phenomenon and who now engage in parkour team battles called battlekour where they leap from building to building. One day, Hibiki, the ace player of the battlekour team Blue Blaze who is gaining attention for his reckless playstyle, accidentally falls into the gravity-distorting ocean. Then, a mysterious girl with strange powers named Uta suddenly appears and saves his life. Uta begins living with Hibiki and the other team members on their ship, which is also home to a scientist named Makoto who is researching the bubble phenomenon. Due to a strange sound only audible to the two of them, Hibiki and Uta begin to connect. One day, the bubbles begin raining down on the city once more, threatening everyone living there.
