Synopsis

After receiving word that his childhood friend Ushio Kofune has passed away, Shinpei Ajiro returns to his hometown of Wakayama City on the island of Hitogashima for the first time in two years. There, he reunites with his family and friends and attends the funeral service for Ushio. However, his close friend So Hishigata seems to think Ushio’s death may not have been merely an accident and that she may have been murdered. The next day, a neighboring family suddenly disappears without a trace. At the same time, Shinpei hears an ominous rumor: Strange shadows resembling residents on the island have been appearing to people, and shortly after being seen, that person ends up dead! What’s more, Ushio’s younger sister Mio tells him that she saw a shadow of Ushio three days before her death! The curtain rises on a supernatural suspense story on a remote island!
