Synopsis

Healer Girl is set in a world where there are three schools of medicine: Western medicine, Eastern medicine, and “vocal medicine” which cures illnesses and injuries through the power of song. Those who use their voice to heal are called “Healers.” Kana Fujii, Reimi Itsushiro, and Hibiki Morishima are three apprentice Healers studying at the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute. Kana is a cheerful and energetic mood maker, Reimi is a rich girl who’s a bit headstrong, and Hibiki is a gentle and reliable girl. Each girl is studying hard with dreams of becoming a full-fledged Healer. Together with Sonia Yanagi, who has returned from living overseas and is qualified as a C-rank Healer, these girls will sing their hearts out to make their dreams come true and heal all who hear their voices!

Background

Healer Girl is an upcoming original TV anime being produced by studio 3Hz that features the four-member female chorus group Healer Girls, which is composed of the main cast members and was formed in April 2021. It is being directed by Yasuhiro Irie and features Noboru Kimura who is handling series composition and scripts, Yukie Akiya who is handling character designs, and Ryo Takahashi who is composing the music. The opening and ending theme songs are "Feel You, Heal You" and "Believe like Singing" by Healer Girls. The anime will premiere in Japan on April 4, 2022 on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Characters

Kana Fujii (Voiced by: Carin Isobe)
Kana is an apprentice Healer studying at the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute. She is a cheerful and positive mood maker who loves to sing. She looks up to Healers after having been saved by one when she was young.

Reimi Itsushiro (Voiced by: Marina Horiuchi)
Reimi is the daughter of a prestigious family who aims to become a Healer. She attends the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute together with Kana and Hibiki. She looks up to Ria more than anyone and works hard to get closer to her.

Hibiki Morishima (Voiced by: Akane Kumada)
Hibiki is an apprentice Healer who loves to sing. Due to being the eldest of six siblings, she is good at taking care of others and is a good cook. Her family works as part-time farmers in the countryside and she is currently living in one of the rooms at the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute.

Sonia Yanagi (Voiced by: Chihaya Yoshitake)
Sonia is a first-year high school student who attends the same school as Kana. She is a skilled Healer who studied overseas and has already qualified as a C-rank Healer. For some reason, she sees the celebrated Healer Ria as her rival.

Ria Karasuma (Voiced by: Ayahi Takagaki)
Ria runs the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute and teaches Kana and the others. She has innate healing abilities and is known as the “witch” of the vocal healing world.

Shoko Nagisa (Voiced by: Hisako Tojo)
Shoko is a pharmacist who works at the Karasuma Vocal Medical Institute. She has been friends with Ria since their graduate school days and is a kind person who treats everyone equally.

Shinobu Honosaka (Voiced by: Miyu Takagi)
Shinobu’s grandparents run the Honosaka Medical Institute. She is also Sonia’s childhood friend and aims to become a “music therapy composer” who creates healing compositions.
