OtapediaSupporting Dragon Ball GT Characters - Dragon Ball

Here is a list of some other significant and supporting characters from the Dragon Ball GT anime series.

Pan

Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl, making her one quarter Saiyan. She is a little boisterous, but is kind-hearted and always tries to save those in peril. In turn, she often gets captured or happens to fall into traps, creating dangerous situations for the team. She also gets possessed by Baby. Pan is one of the only original characters alive at the end of GT, as one hundred years have passed from the time Goku leaves with Shenron until his return. Although she is an elderly woman at the time, she makes her way to watch her great-grandson, Goku Jr., fight against Vegeta Jr. in the World Martial Arts tournament.

Status: Great grandmother of Goku Jr.

Giru

Giru is a machine mutant found by Goku, Pan, and Trunks on planet Imecka. He is near death when he absorbs the dragon radar for energy and tries to escape. The team captures him and he joins the hunt for the Dragon Balls. He pretends to betray the team when on planet M-2, a plan that was created by Trunks. Super 17 manages to damage Giru when he attacks Dr. Myuu, but Giru is soon repaired again. He is key in locating and defeating the Shadow Dragons.

Status: Was destroyed by Eis Shenron but is revived by Goku’s wish to Shenron.

Dr. Myuu

Dr. Myuu is a machine mutant that was built by Baby to build a new body for Baby, the parasite containing the DNA of the last king of the Tuffle race. The Tuffles were eradicated by the Saiyans and had their planet conquered and renamed Planet Vegeta. Because of this, Dr. Myuu harbors immense hatred toward the Saiyans. When killed, he teams up with Dr. Gero to build a machine mutant Android 17.

Status: Killed by Super 17.

Baby

Baby is the parasitic host of the last Tuffle king’s DNA. He was created and sent into space to be developed by Dr. Myuu and exact vengeance on the Saiyan race. He successfully possessed most of the Earth. Baby attains his most powerful form when he possessed Vegeta and became Super Baby 2.

Status: Defeated by Super Saiyan 4 Goku’s x10 Kamehameha.

Super 17

Super 17 is the fusion of Android 17 and Hellfighter 17, the machine mutant copy of 17 created in Hell by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu. He is able to absorb ki blasts and can create a strong ki barrier, making him very durable and tough to beat. He is ordered to kill Android 18 by Dr. Myuu, but the Android 17 part of him is affected by 18’s words and he refuses to follow orders and kills Dr. Myuu instead.

Status: Destroyed by Goku’s Dragon Fist and Kamehameha.

Syn Shenron

The culmination of bad energy released by using the Black Star Dragon Balls. He is the ultimate evil born of the worst, most selfless Dragon Ball wish. He is arrogant and cruel, often belittling his opponents, but never underestimating them. Syn Shenron absorbs all of the Black Star Dragon Balls and becomes Omega Shenron. In this form he is unbeatable, even Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta stand no chance until the fuse into Gogeta. Eventually, however, even this proves not enough to put him down and Goku creates the Universal Spirit Bomb.

Status: Destroyed by Goku’s spirit bomb.

Shadow Dragons

When the Dragon Balls are cracked due to the sheer amount of negative energy built up because the time between uses decreased so much, Black Smoke Shenron was released. The dragon them split into seven parts: Haze Shenron, Rage Shenron, Oceanus Shenron, Naturon Shenron, Nuova Shenron, Eis Shenron, and Syn Shenron. Of these seven dragons, only the last three have any significant fighting skills, but all are powerful in their own right. Each dragon represents a specific wish made by various characters throughout the series. For example, Syn Shenron is the culmination of negative energy that was created when all of the people on Namek killed by Frieza were revived.

Status: Killed either by Goku’s team (except Nuovo who is killed by Syn Shenron).

Rildo

Rildo is a machine mutant developed by Dr. Myuu to find the Black Star Dragon Balls in order to wish for a new planet Tuffle. He is seen to be fairly powerful and able to transform into a metal form by absorbing the other machine mutants. He also has a hyper metal form where he can turn anything into metal.

Status: Killed by a combined Kamehameha.

Majuub

Majuub is the fusion of Majin Buu and Uub. Uub joins the fight against Baby, but is very quickly outmatched. As the deciding blow is about to be struck, Majin Buu steps in and saves Uub. The two then fuse to become Majuub. In this stronger form, they fight Baby to a standstill, but are then turned into chocolate and eaten. This is Majuub’s plan, however, and attacks Baby from the inside. He also helps fight Super 17 and Syn Shenron.

Status: Returned to his village.

Bulla

Bulla is the daughter of Vegeta and Bulma. She is with Vegeta driving home after shopping when possessed Gohan attacks Vegeta. She, too, is later possessed by Baby but cured with the sacred water. Her last appearance in Dragon Ball GT happens just before the Black Smoke Dragon appears.

Status: Alive
