Synopsis
Elementary school student Haruka Hoshinogawa got a surprise one day when her treasured ribbon produced a mini god known as a “Cocotama.” Christening the god ribbon, Haruka was then presented with a mysterious key which appeared when she touched him. Among the Cocotama there is a legend which says that when the person who has the key meets the Cocotama the door to happiness will be opened and the world saved. Is Haruka really the girl in the prophecy? A secret Cocotama world awaits!
Background
Kira Kira Happy ★ Hirake! Cocotama is the latest instalment in the Kami-sama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama franchise. The series was announced in June 2018 and premiered on Sep. 6, 2018. The opening theme for the first season is "Himitsu no Kagi, Cocotama!" by voice actresses Minami Takahashi, Inori Minase, Mariya Ise, and Emiri Iwai, while Kaoru Masaki performs the ending theme, "Cocotama Sagaso! Miitsuketta ♪”.

Haruka Hoshinogawa is an elementary school student who discovers a tiny god known as a “Cocotama” which she names “Ribbon” because it was born from a ribbon she had always treasured. When she touches Ribbon she becomes the bearer of a mysterious key…
Ribbon (Voiced by: Inori Minase)
Ribbon is a Cocotama who was born from a cherry blossom ribbon that had long been treasured by Haruka. When Ribbon meets Haruka, Ribbon’s egg turns into a mysterious key. Bright and cheerful, Ribbon is also a little absent-minded.
Pillow (Voiced by: Mariya Ise)
Pillow is a sleepy little guy who likes to take things slow. Pillow can also sleep just about anywhere and is sure to guarantee sweet dreams to all!
Chako (Voiced by: Emiri Iwai)
Born from a cup, Chako is primed to deliver relaxation but is actually quite a flustered little god and a total worrywart. Chako also likes a good meal!
Ruby (Voiced by: Yu Shimamura)
Elegant Cocotama Ruby was born from a ring and is a lovely and kind little god who likes to dress elegantly and for everything to be nice and neat.
Marume (Voiced by: Aki Toyosaki)
Marume was born from a pair of glasses and is a walking encyclopaedia who is good at studying and inventing things!
Pantonio (Voiced by: Nobuaki Kanemitsu)
Pantonio is a heroic and manly Cocotama who was born from a frying pan and loves to cook as well as sing songs!
