Synopsis
On an ordinary morning, the everyday peace of seven young girls’ lives is suddenly shattered by dead, crawling zombies in Zombieland Saga. Despite this world they’ve been thrusted into against their will, they focus on one thing: their desire to live. The saga begins in this massive original collaboration bringing together MAPPA, Avex Pictures, and Cygames!
Background
First announced by Cygames on July 5, 2018 in collaboration with Avex Pictures, Zombieland Saga is an original anime which will begin airing on Oct. 4, 2018 with 12 episodes planned. It is animated by MAPPA, directed by Munehisa Sakai, and written by Shigeru Murakoshi with music by Yasuharu Takanashi.
The opening theme is “Adabana Necromancy” while the ending theme is “Hikari e,” both of which are performed by voice actresses for the series including Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano, Risa Taneda, Maki Kawase, Rika Kinugawa, and Minami Tanaka.

A stylish young girl who loves the combination of creepy and cute and who enjoys collecting things.

Somewhat mysterious and airy, Junko enjoys fishing, yoga, and piano.
Yuugiri (Voiced by: Rika Kinugawa)
With a distinct Japanese style, Yuugiri enjoys collecting folding fans and sweet sake.
Lily Hoshikawa (Voiced by: Minami Tanaka)
A cute and odd young girl who enjoys plush toys and magazines about heavy machinery.
Tae Yamada (Voiced by: ?)
Dark and mysterious, Tae enjoys spending her time walking around travel agencies and likes to eat fish (especially roe and squid).
