Marvel Entertainment is the owner and creator of multi-million dollar comic, film, and video game franchises, acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2009.

Marvel began as a comic publishing company in 1939 under the name Timely Comics but found international recognition in 1961 when the name was changed to Marvel, and The Fantastic Four written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Jack Kirby was released.

Stan Lee is credited as the creative force of the company, developing many of the most well-known franchises, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and countless others.

Marvel has released 23 films since 2008, creating the juggernaut that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each movie has some form of interconnection to the next, eventually spawning epic ensembles with films such as The Avengers.

History of Marvel and Nendoroid

The first Nendoroids in the series began production in 2013.

#988-DX Iron Man Mark 50: Infinity Edition DX Ver.

Tony Stark, also known as the hero Iron Man, is the owner of the greatly successful Stark Industries. He was kidnapped in a war zone in Afghanistan and fatally wounded. To escape captivity he built an armored suit which would be the prototype of the Iron Man suit. The suit was also for the purpose of keeping his heart beating as he was still wounded. Using his vast wealth, Tony Stark built various Iron Man suits, which he uses to help fulfill his heroic duties. Thanks to his genius mind and numerous resources in hand he was able to improve his design and continually become stronger.

Ready for war, Iron Man in his Mark 50 suit from the movie Avengers: Infinity War comes with removable forearms with different accessories that lock in at the elbow joints such as a hand cannon part. He also has special wings that can be attached to his back, as well as various Repulsor effects to simulate flying and attacks. The helmet part of the suit can be lifted up to reveal the serious face of Tony Stark where he looks straight ahead with his mouth opened as though he was speaking or breathing heavily for air while he runs. Be sure to attach the Nendoroid figure to the clear stand to simulate him flying in the air to recreate your favorite flying and battle scenes.

The DX version of this figure includes extra limb components to replicate effects from the movie such as his booster lower body, sword and shield arm parts, and various other special components.

#1120-DX Doctor Strange: Infinity Edition DX Ver.

Doctor Stephen Strange was an exceptionally skilled surgeon, until a car crash greatly hindered the precision of his hands, forcing him to quit performing surgeries. He traveled around the world in search of a way to fix his hands, and eventually encountered the Sorcerer Supreme, also known as the Ancient One, who teaches him the ways of the mystical arts. Throughout his learning of the mystical arts, he gathers magical objects which enhance his powers. Dr. Strange is a superhero who first appeared in Strange Tales in 1963. He is a character with magical powers and he protects planet Earth against magical and fantasy creatures.

The Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange from the movie Avengers: Infinity War comes with two serious expressions, one with his mouth closed and another with his mouth slightly open. Thirdly, he has an angry-looking expression where his eyes are focused and his mouth wide open as though he was shouting. He also has the Eye of Agamotto as an accessory that can be placed around his neck. Additionally, he has magic circle effect accessories that can be attached to both of his hands to make it seem as though he is using magic. There is also a warp gateway that can be displayed together with the Nendoroid.

The Dr. Strange Nendoroid is able to hold his sword thanks to the alternate hand parts and they also allow him to be posed with a variety of hand gestures as he uses his magic and even uses his amulet to stop time. The special feature unique to the DX ensemble is the many hand parts that can be attached to his back making it seem like he has ten hands at once. Another special feature of the DX package is the alternate lower body part where he can be posed with his legs crossed in a sitting or floating in mid-air pose.

#955-DX Black Panther: Infinity Edition DX Ver

T’Challa, also known as the superhero Black Panther, is the king of the hidden African nation of Wakanda, which boasts highly advanced technology. Black Panther possesses enhanced physical strength and agility, as well as a suit of Vibranium armor.

Clad in his vibranium suit, the King of Wakanda from the movie Avengers: Infinity War comes with interchangeable hand parts that are larger than normal in order to emphasize his iconic claws. He also comes with effect parts for slashing.

The DX version of this figure includes a Wakanda-themed base plate and a horde of Outriders as a single component as well as 2 individual Outriders miniatures. He also has a miniature version of the Border Tribe with their shields active. He also has backup in the form of a flying miniature War Machine Mark IV. T'Challa also has a different headpiece to show off his face unmasked with two face plates: a serious face and a shouting face.

#923-DX Captain America: Infinity Edition DX Ver.

Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, is a World War 2 soldier whose body was enhanced with an experimental super serum, granting him greatly enhanced physical ability. He was trapped in ice for many years, only emerging after his ship was discovered in the modern age.

Additional Parts

The Captain America figure includes two unmasked facial expressions: a focused and concentrating expression and a shouting expression with gritted teeth. He also has his arm guards from the movie. Included in the DX version of this figure is a Wakanda-themed base plate along with a horde of Outriders pouring through the Wakandan shield wall. There is also a single Outrider for more up-close posing and even a miniature figure of Falcon .
